Suzy Camacho: Justice rejects the prosecution’s complaint and does not see the actress’s crime

The São Paulo State Court of Justice decided to reject the complaint by the São Paulo Public Ministry against former Globo actress Suzy Camacho, 61. She had been accused of allegedly using three false medical certificates to prove that her husband, businessman Farid Curi , 85, would have the mental capacity to release an amount of R$ 10 million. Farid, who was hospitalized with herpetic encephalitis, died on the 22nd.

With all the elements in hand, the Civil Police launched an investigation to determine whether Susy had acted in bad faith in the consultations and led the neurologists to diagnose that her husband was in a good cognitive situation. Indicted, she ended up being denounced by the Public Ministry. And it is precisely this complaint that is now rejected by the 27th Criminal Court of São Paulo.

Judge Luciana Piovesan highlighted that there is no element that indicates any crime and that “there is no basis or proof and, therefore, they do not authorize the receipt of the complaint because they even indicate the presence of evidence of crimes and proof of their materiality”.

Suzy Camacho participated in soap operas such as “Brega & Chique” (Globo, 1987) and was married since 2013 to Farid. To the General Balance (Record), she said that she would have been prevented from going to her husband’s wake and funeral, something that was denied by the businessman’s children.
