Hilary Swank announces pregnancy with twins at age 48: ‘A blessing, a miracle’

At 48, she, who has no children yet, is expecting twins, the fruit of her marriage to Philip Schneider. “This is something I’ve been waiting for a long time. And it’s not just one, but two. I can’t believe it,” said the actress who is currently airing on American TV in the series “Alaska Daily.” According to Swank, the team working with her on the series also didn’t know about the pregnancy, and they learned together with fans in their announcement today.

The actress said that her clothes started to get tight and she even cut a pair of jeans she wore on the shoot because of her belly. She had to wear a jacket to disguise it, which caught the attention of the team, since the play was not planned, but still no one suspected the real reason for the change in the costumes.

Swank did not reveal whether the pregnancy happened naturally, but stated that she has cases of twins in both her family and her husband’s family, which would explain her tendency to also have multiple management. “It’s a blessing. It’s a total miracle. It’s unbelievable,” she said.

The actress, who won an Oscar for best actress for the film “Million Dollar Baby”, married Schneider in 2018, two years after they were first seen together. “I was thrilled and so grateful to marry the man of my dreams and to see all the people we love together. It was truly a dream come true.”
