The Prince and Princess of Wales were in Belfast as part of their first royal tour of Northern Ireland.
During the three days of meetings and events, William and Kate visited clubs and schools, met with local officials, drank beer and shook dozens of hands as they were warmly greeted by crowds wherever they went.

Included in the program was a visit to a bar (probably) where the princely couple had a competition… mixologist, commonly they indulged in a cocktail competition.
William and Kate started making and serving drinks and – on their official Twitter account – wondered: ‘Who did it best?’

Of course, the tour was full of surprises. As the couple greeted the assembled crowd in Belfast, a woman put Kate Middleton in a difficult position by telling her that “Ireland belongs to the Irish”. After extending her hand and greeting the princess, the woman said: “Nice to meet you, but it would be better if you were in your own country” and added: “Ireland belongs to the Irish.”

As a true British blue-blood, Kate didn’t show the slightest flurry, surprise or displeasure and continued to smile broadly and greet people.
