Singers Lexa, 27, and MC Guimê, 29, announced this Saturday (22) the end of their relationship after seven years. The two posted messages on their social networks where they extolled each other and the love they say still exists. “Maybe one day our paths will meet again,” she said.
“No one gets married thinking about separating, because a person as special as you is marked in my story. The fact is that for months we tried to adjust things, but we understand that the path is to stay apart”, said Lexa, who added: “The love I feel for you goes beyond this world.”
Guimê highlighted that everything lived between the two was not perfect, but it was wonderful. “We learned a lot together and, as much as it is not a ‘happy ending’ at that moment, what we had the most was love, respect, compassion, affection and care for each other”.
Lexa also asked fans for understanding and not to make assumptions about the reasons for the breakup. “Just respect us, because it was a joint decision. Guimê, you were by far one of the best choices of my life. It was the best seven years possible.”
Despite the couple being together for seven years, they had been married for four years, a date celebrated in May. This year’s anniversary was marked by statements from the two. The wedding of the musicians was held with great luxury and several famous ones at the Sé Cathedral, in the center of São Paulo.
