PT candidate wins another song parody: ‘Lula is coming back’

Presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) won another samba parody on the eve of the second round of elections. A video of artists singing a version of the song “I’m coming back” circulated on social media this Friday (28).

“It makes my hair beautiful for me to notice that I just want to mess it up. There, laiá, laiá. I want Lula there. Lula is coming back”, sing the artists making the “L” of Lula, holding the candidate’s masks and the flag of the PT. In the original version, this snippet of the song says: “Make your hair beautiful for me to notice. What I really want to do is tousle it. I want to hold you. Get ready because I’m coming back.”

Songs for the PT candidate and against political opponent Jair Bolsonaro (PL) have packed the campaign, being successful on the networks and even on digital platforms. “It’s time for Jair to leave”, by Tiago Doidão and Juliano Maderada, which has been played at Lula campaign events, reached second place on the list of the 50 viral songs in Brazil, on Spotify, an audio streaming service. ,

The official music video already has more than 906 thousand views since September 18, when it was released. In addition, Maderada’s own official YouTube channel has already shared a record of the song playing on a micareta.

Another song that has been successful among PT supporters is the parody of the song “Não Quero Dinheiro”, by Tim Maia. The new version calls on voters to go vote for Lula, on Sunday (30). “I’m going to ask you to vote. This year, come vote too. I’m going to ask you to fight. I’m going to ask you to Lular. This year, come vote with love”, sing several artists and politicians.

In this final stretch of the campaign, the campaign of former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) released on the night of this Tuesday (25) on social networks a new video with artists and digital influencers singing the jingle “Sem Medo de Ser Feliz” alongside the PT member and his wife, sociologist Rosângela da Silva, Janja.

Names such as singer Chico Buarque, writer Conceição Evaristo, comedian Gregorio Duviver, singer Preta Gil and actresses Marieta Severo, Camila Pitanga, Ciça Guimarães and Maitê Proença participated. Most of them wore white clothes.
