The armor of the “Devil’s Champion” may carry symbolism: almost immediately after completing the $44 billion deal to acquire Twitter last Thursday, Musk “carved out” four of his top executives.
Sweeping layoffs are now expected at the company, with around 25% of the platform’s total of 7,500 workers expected to lose their jobs. Musk plans to review the company’s content moderation policies and bans for users, such as Donald Trump, who have violated the platform’s policies in the past.
