Luan Santana, 31, recorded on Wednesday (1st) an end-of-the-year special for Globo in honor of his 15-year career. The program is part of the network’s special schedule and will air on December 26.
For the special “Som Brasil: 15 years of Luan”, the singer won a scenographic city inspired by the “Luan City” project with extras. He shared behind-the-scenes photos from the recording of the special on social media.
The artist wrote on Instagram that when he created “Luan City” he knew he was facing one of the biggest projects of his life – the DVD recorded in Vila Itororó, in São Paulo, in December last year, yielded EPs and won a national and International.
He said that the album, a year after its release, became one of the most listened to in Brazil and gave him many joys, such as being the number one artist in Portugal and now the end-of-year special.
“In the year that [o projeto] vem will tour several cities across Brazil and now to close 2022 with a flourish, ‘Luan City’ will become a Globo year-end special (first of many, God willing)”, wrote Luan.
Famous and anonymous commented on the singer’s publication on Instagram and congratulated him. “Deserves a lot,” wrote actor Lucas Veloso. “Deserved! Congratulations Luan Santana”, commented journalist Thiago Rocha.
A netizen said that she is already going to prepare the tissues to watch the special. “It’s going to be so beautiful…I’m going to prepare my tissues now because I’m melted butter.”
