The 40-year-old applied last year in the US for the trademark Gigi Dior. On September 20, 2022, it was approved by the authorities.
She uses the name on her personal website, her OnlyFans account, her webcam work, and on all her social media accounts.
The fashion house states in its lawsuit the reasons why it opposes Gigi’s trademark, such as, among other things, “likelihood of confusion and tarnishment”.
Gigi has appeared in seven porn films, and several online videos, and has been nominated for an award by the Cam Awards.
It has until November 17 to present a written response against Christian Dior Couture’s appeal. If not, it loses its trademark.
Gigi, who has been working in the adult film industry for just two years, is a former model and actress from New York, and a single mother with four children under 12 years of age.
“If I lose my brand, I’ve built a name around that brand, it’s become one with my reputation, it’s going to be really devastating to have to start from scratch and change everything. I have thousands of t-shirts, and photos. I have websites, all social media. If I lose that name I should start over”. “I’m devastated and it’s ridiculous,” added the 40-year-old.
