Four arrests by D.A.O.E. for possession and trafficking of narcotics, in the context of a coordinated police operation in Agia Varvara Attica.

In particular, a total of 4 people were arrested by the Narcotics Prosecution Sub-Directorate, of the Organized Crime Directorate, yesterday, Friday, October 24, 2025, accused of three different cases of possession and trafficking of narcotic substances on a case-by-case basis.

These are citizens aged 52, 50, 42 and 22 years old, who were arrested in the context of a coordinated police operation carried out with the assistance of police officers from the Intelligence and Special Actions Sub-Directorate in Agia Varvara, Attica, while a 65-year-old citizen is also accused.

An appropriate utilization of information was preceded, while after verifications, cross-references and profiling of those involved, their criminal activity was certified.

In particular, the 42-year-old was caught in possession of a package of cocaine with a gross weight of -0.2-grams, which he had procured earlier from the 22-year-old. In a subsequent investigation carried out at the latter’s home, he was found to be in possession of a makeshift package with cocaine, with a gross weight of -0.2- grams, for the purpose of further trafficking to third parties.

At the same time, the 52-year-old was caught in possession of packages with heroin with a gross weight of -0.4- grams, cocaine with a gross weight of -0.2- grams, cannabis with a gross weight of -0.3- grams, as well as -3- tablets of a pharmaceutical preparation, quantities which he had procured earlier from the 65-year-old. An investigation followed in a health care store, a package of raw cannabis, with a gross weight of -1.5-grams, which the 50-year-old had hidden, was found and confiscated.

In total, in the context of all three cases, the following were found and seized:

• 0.6 grams of cocaine,

• 0.4 grams of heroin,

• 1.8 grams of raw cannabis,

• 3 tablets of medicinal preparation,

• 3 precision electronic scales,

• 3 closed circuit cameras,

• 2 TV screens,

• 2 mobile phones,

• 2 metal dispensers and

• 155 euros.

It is noted that two of the above defendants have been employed many times in the past for drug cases, while restrictive conditions have been imposed on one of them.

Those arrested were taken to the competent prosecuting authority.
