Actor André Gonçalves, 46, suffered another blow in court, now with a new prison order for failing to pay pension. Who appealed to the court was the eldest daughter, Manuela, 23, the result of the actor’s relationship with actress Tereza Seiblitz. Sought, she did not respond to requests.
The process, which is under judicial secrecy, is being processed at the 4th Family Court of Rio de Janeiro and is waiting for the judge’s decision.
Gonçalves’ lawyer, Sylvio Guerra tells the F5 who does not believe that the new arrest warrant will go ahead. “This request for arrest will not go ahead, as he is already under house arrest, despite not having received the electronic anklet or the warrant. But this arrest has already been decreed by another process of Valentina”, he comments.
Valentina is the 18-year-old daughter André has with Cynthia Benini, whom he met at the second edition of the Casa dos Artistas (SBT) in 2002, and with whom he stayed until 2006. Valentina had also already gone to court to claim to receive a debt that revolves around R$352,000.
The sentence already decreed that punished André Gonçalves determines that he be monitored by an electronic ankle bracelet and be kept under house arrest for a period of 60 days. “He will comply with that decision,” said the lawyer.
According to Guerra, however, the actor remains unemployed and unable to pay pensions. “We are awaiting the judge’s decision. An agreement was reached in the amount of R$ 120 thousand that he owed. He made the payment of R$ 20 thousand, after the deadline, but complied, and the R$ 1,000 he had to pay per month he he didn’t get it, because he’s still unemployed,” he explains.
Gonçalves had been in default since 2017. Second War, the actor always fulfilled his commitments to Valentina and her other two children during the long period in which he was hired by Globo — the discount was made on the payroll.
