Whindersson Nunes has symptoms of food poisoning and postpones appointments

Comedian Whindersson Nunes, 26, had to put off appointments from his schedule because of symptoms of food poisoning. The comedian posted a statement on his social networks to explain that he could not attend an autograph night for his newest book in Teresina, Piauí.

“Since yesterday (12), the artist has shown signs of food poisoning and is under medical care. A new date will be announced shortly”, says the notice. When sharing the note on Twitter, Nunes joked: “It hurts my stomach”.

In November, he released “Vivendo Como Um Guerreiro”, a work that was already the best-selling work in the category of artist biographies and even ranked second in Amazon’s overall ranking, even though it was pre-ordered.

This weekend, Nunes had problems with his throat. He had certain difficulties during a show he performed in Goiânia. “Sorry about the voice, today it really wasn’t good, but I did my best,” he published in a video recording of the event.

Last week, Whindersson had already made a big outburst on his social networks in which he revealed that he is thinking of retiring soon. According to him, the large number of commitments made him deny all types of enjoyment and moments of joy.

“Yesterday [na Farofa da GKay] everyone who met me said: ‘you at a party? That’s what’, and to each person who said that I thought: ‘I really deserve to enjoy it’. It’s been almost ten years saying no to every party, every birthday, every christening, in the last two years I even stopped TV,” he began.

“Going out demands a lot of physical energy, yesterday I took so many pictures and someone always saying: ‘you can’t enjoy it’. I enjoy it, I don’t bother with what I asked God to (…) was so much bigger”, Nunes amended.

Afterwards, he made it clear that he is thinking about slowing down. “Maybe I’ll work a couple more years and stop, and I’m definitely going to do something really cool to get back,” he wrote.
