Friends Lynda Carter, 71, and Dionne Warwick, 81, entertained fans and Internet users on Wednesday night (16) with a tutorial on how to touch the grass. The actress and singer shared a video on their Twitter profiles, asking: “Do you remember how to touch the grass? We hope so.”
The record begins with the singer greeting Internet users and stating that, recently, she has been seeing and hearing “really ugly things” on social networks, which can even be compared to bullying. “I don’t like it at all”, adds Warwick, who has more than 50 years of career.
Then, a notice cuts the singer’s video, saying that it will interrupt the “little auntie lesson for an emergency lesson in how to touch the grass”. In the sequence, the actress, known for playing the heroine Wonder Woman in the 1970s, appears and says that she will teach how to “touch the grass, not smoke”.
Carter then appears in three steps, bending down to stretch his arm near the grass, bringing his hand closer and finally touching the grass. “My God, this is so good”, completes the artist, while lying on the lawn.
The video then switches back to Warwick, who continues talking about mean comments on the internet. The video cuts back to Carter again, who shows that it is possible to play artificial grass too, and ends up ending with the singer, who says: “I love you and I know you can do much better.”
