In the previous episode, Happy Traveler embarked on a road trip to our neighboring country, Albania.
Eutychis and Electra drove alongside the river Aoos, visited Premetii, Kleisoura, Tepeleni and reached the mouth of the river in the Adriatic Sea.
They also made stops at the Holy Monastery of Panagia Ardenitsa, the Monastery of Agios Kosmas of Aitolos and the ancient Apollonia.
On Saturday, November 19, they continue their journey and initially make a small detour on their way to see the beautiful Berat or Verati, which is considered by many to be the most beautiful city in Albania.
Then they go to the country’s third largest city and first capital, Avlona.
They also see salt flats with pink waters and the Narta lagoon with the picturesque monastery of Panagia on an island.
The trek continues with an impressive beach that looks like our own Voidokoilia where they see a wonderful sunset in the Adriatic.
Immediately after, they start the route of the Albanian Riviera, parallel to the sea, and pass the mountain of Logaras, where they walk in the densely forested national forest.
They descend from the south side of the mountain, and lead to a coastal route that is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe.
Finally, they head to Palasa, Drymades, Chimara and other areas and cities that we will see in the next episode.
