Angelica’s father is discharged from the hospital and she thanks him for his support

The presenter Angelica, 47, informed this Thursday (4) that the father, Francisco Ksyvicks, 82, known as Chico, was discharged from the hospital where he was hospitalized after suffering a stroke (cerebrovascular accident) on October 9th.

“I know that many people throughout Brazil prayed a lot for him, prayed a lot for him,” he said on social networks.

Angelica said that from now on her father will live in a different phase, with difficulties and a lot of care. “But with many victories too,” he pointed out. “I’m very grateful for all the affection, for all the love, for the positive thinking of everyone.”

According to the presenter, Chico had an ischemic stroke and receives support from his family for the adaptation phase that began after hospital discharge.

In addition to the fans, Angélica also thanked the physiotherapy and speech therapy teams who attended her father at CopaStar, in Copacabana, in the south of Rio de Janeiro. “They were tireless, affectionate, very supportive of the treatment”. She also thanked the hospital nurses and doctors.

The presenter spoke about the challenges that appear in everyone’s lives and said that support is important at these times.

“Never lose faith,” he added. “Faith helps a lot at these times, it moves mountains.”

According to Angelica, the evolution of the father during hospitalization was unbelievable even for doctors.

“I want to take the opportunity and send a very special kiss to Mr. Chico, Angelica’s father, he had a serious health problem yesterday, but everything will be all right, God willing. Mr. Francisco, I’m here praying a lot for you. Mr. Chico, we are together,” he said.

In September, Angelica said she was relieved to break the exclusive employment relationship she had had with Globo for 24 years. Even though by contract the network maintains priority over the presenter’s agenda, she said she lives a sense of freedom she had never experienced and also that she can now exercise her creative side without strings attached.

“I’ve been working since I was 4 years old and I ended up spending a lot of time stuck with ideas that people cultivated about me,” she explained in an interview with Veja Rio magazine. chance to live. Three years later, I started a sabbatical period in which I started taking care of myself from the inside out,” he said.

In 2015, Angélica, Luciano Huck, the couple’s three children and two nannies were on a private plane that had to make an emergency landing on a farm in Mato Grosso do Sul after having a problem in one of the engines. The passengers, in addition to pilot Osmar Frattini, suffered minor injuries.

“When the plane crash happened, I had nothing. After a year, when I was walking down the street in New York, I panicked. I called my doctor, he prescribed medicine. To get on the plane, I had to take it. And it was horrible. I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t speak. When I arrived, I said: ‘I’m going to look for an alternative’. I started to meditate. And the panic went away,” he revealed in an interview with O Globo newspaper in September 2020.
