Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar, 29, signed a partnership with Facebook and from this Friday (17th) he will perform livestreams on Facebook Gaming, a platform dedicated to streaming live videos of games or sports championships.
The agreement, made between NR Sports and the company Meta, includes the production of video content dedicated to the player’s Instagram, which already has more than 166 million followers. Now, fans of the football star will be able to follow Neymar’s “gamer journey”.
The first broadcast will be made this Friday, at 4 pm. It can be accessed on Neymar Jr.’s Facebook page, and will also feature the participation of the platform’s creators. “Everyone knows that the gaming world has always been one of my biggest passions after football,” said the player.
“I can’t wait to meet everyone who shares this passion. I hope everyone and I can have a lot of fun,” says Neymar. Facebook Gaming Partnership Manager William Pimenta says that now, the player “will have the chance to connect with fans around the world through games”.
Recently, Netflix announced that “Neymar: The Perfect Chaos”, a documentary about the player’s trajectory, will premiere on January 25th. In the released trailer of the new production, the attacker claims he is considered Batman to family and close friends.
