Chris Pratt is accused of machismo and snubbing his son in a post to his wife

Actor known, among other works, for his performance in “Guardians of the Galaxy”, Chris Pratt, 42, caused controversy by publishing a message to his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, 31. He ended up being accused of machismo, objectifying women and snubbing one of the children.

In the message, Chris begins with an account that they both met at church and that everyone should have a partner who looks at him as Katherine looks at him.

As a result, it begins to debate. “She gave me an amazing life, her beautiful and healthy daughter. She chews so loud I sometimes put my headphones on to smother it, but that’s love,” he wrote.

Because of this passage, many people criticized him for forgetting to mention his other son, Jack, 9, the result of another marriage to Anna Faris.

At another point in the story, Pratt makes another comment that upset some of his followers. “She helps me with everything. In return, I periodically open a jar of pickles,” he wrote.

Some people were bothered by this. “Why are you proud of doing absolutely nothing for your wife?” asked a follower. “Did you just describe your wife as a possession?” countered another.

And he didn’t stop there. “His heart is pure and belongs to me. My greatest treasure right next to my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck Rookie card,” he likened to a card related to a former baseball player.

The actor ended the post saying that his wife’s birthday will be six weeks from now. And fired. “If I don’t buy her anything, I’ll tell her to look at this post. Love you honey.”

Another follower on his page listed at least four times when Chris didn’t do well in the post. According to her, he is a “toxic Christian”.

“One: Telling how much your wife does for you without giving anything back. Two: Joking about making no effort for her birthday present. Three: Being unable to avoid complaining about her, even when you try to compliment her. Four: Doing weird comment about purity/property about her,” he posted.

It was in August 2020 that the couple’s first child was born. The news was confirmed by Patrick, Katherine’s brother. “They’re doing great. They just got a gift,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

The couple, who came together in an intimate ceremony in California in June 2020, were excited to “grow the family as quickly as possible,” several sources told People magazine.
