Singer Kanye West, 44, who can now legally use the name Ye, said Kim Kardashian, 41, is still his wife, even though the two have been separated since the beginning of this year and are facing divorce proceedings.
“She’s still my wife. No papers have come out yet,” he said in an interview with The Gold Digger podcast, echoed by the British newspaper Daily Mail. The speech comes as rumors grow that Kim is getting involved with comedian Pete Davidson, 27.
The socialite and the comedian were seen holding hands at an amusement park in California. They were joined by Kourtney Kardashian and her fiance, singer Travis Barker. According to the TMZ website, the two had their second meeting in a row last Wednesday night (3).
The two have not yet commented on the supposed romance. Davidson, who works on Saturday Night Live, has dated other artists such as Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale and Phoebe Dynevor before.
Kim and Kanye were married in 2014 and together they have four children. Despite having started the divorce process in February of this year, the two remain close, as the socialite attended events for the release of the album “Donda”, West’s most recent work.
