World Cup: Tried in court for pension, Militão wears a R$ 3 million watch

by

Last weekend, some players from the Brazilian national team were released from the concentration and were able to enjoy a luxury dinner with gold-plated meat in Qatar. But the gold wasn’t just in the food. Éder Militão sported a watch that, according to the specialized website Watch me in Brazil, costs around R$ 3 million.

Along with him were Vini Jr. and former athlete Ronaldo Fenômeno. Both also had expensive watches, but much cheaper than the one chosen by the player (R$ 200,000 and R$ 50,000 respectively).

This appearance with the accessory happens in parallel with the legal fight he faces with his ex-wife, Karoline Lima, with whom he has a young daughter, Cecília.

Recently, the model revealed that the Real Madrid and Brazilian national team player filed a lawsuit in court to stipulate a monthly amount of child support for the girl of five minimum wages, in the amount of R$ 6,060.00.

The argument used by Militão’s defense was that the 24-year-old player, with spells at São Paulo and Portuguese club Porto, would be at the beginning of his career. He needs to help his family stay in Brazil. But the athlete’s lawyers did not say that he is a professional for one of the richest clubs in the world and that, according to the Spanish newspaper Marca, his contract was recently renewed.

With this new bond until 2028, Éder would jump from 3 to 7 million euros per year, the equivalent of R$ 36 million (without the bonuses with games and prizes). Using mathematics, Éder would earn around R$100,000 a day and, in less than two hours of his day at the club, he would be able to pay his daughter’s pension.
