Britney Spears “uploaded” a revealing video of herself dancing topless in the shower on Instagram, amid growing concern among her fans of late.
The 41-year-old superstar wearing nothing but a red bikini bottom, holding her cleavage with her hands and dancing to LL Cool J’s “Doin’ It.”
“I am 41 years old and I am finally expressing my freedom. I have never felt better! Learning to love myself has become my passion this year… I’d rather be in my skin than wear my skin!” wrote Britney Spears in the caption of her post.
The video received a mixed response from her 41.6 million fans, with some encouraging her and others questioning whether her social media is being monitored. Paris Hilton praised her friend, writing ‘#Sliving sis’.
Meanwhile, YouTube star Freelee Banana Girl expressed concern: “With videos like this watch out, guardianship can ‘come back,'” she wrote, referring to Britney’s 13-year guardianship, which ended in November of 2021.
Another fan defended the singer explaining: “Understand this woman has been under control for over a decade. Finally, she is in control of what she posts. If you don’t like what he posts, unfollow. This is”.
On Friday, the singer shocked her fans as a video she posted showed her dancing in a red leotard, eating cake off the floor and then putting it on herself.
“Yes, I’ve been celebrating my birthday all week and I know my Instagram has been down a few times, but honestly I’ve been on my own the last couple of times,” she wrote in her post.
Last Wednesday night, her husband, Sam Asghari, asked his wife’s fans to respect her privacy on his Instagram Story.
“Social media can be traumatic. Sometimes it’s good to take a break. She has her voice and is a free woman. I respect her privacy and protect her at all times,” he wrote.
He continued: “Thank you to all her fans,” he wrote amid fans’ fears that his wife is not in control of her own social media accounts.
His post comes after Britney’s account was recently deactivated. Although she is back on Instagram herself, she has previously deleted her account for the sixth time (the third time in the last four months).
The bold look comes despite her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, reporting in September that their teenage sons are embarrassed by her bold social media posts.
In an interview her son Jayden claimed that her sexually charged social media posts are “an attention grabber” and expressed concern that “it may never stop”.
He added: “It’s almost like she has to post something to get attention. This has been going on for years and this may actually never stop.”
