Stephen “tWitch” Boss, DJ, dancer and executive producer of the former Ellen DeGeneres show, died at age 40 on Tuesday. The information was confirmed by the DJ’s wife, Alisson Holker Boss, to People magazine.

Sources tell TMZ that police found Boss dead in a Los Angeles hotel room with a gunshot wound. The DJ’s wife had gone to the police desperately, saying that he had left the house without his car, which was unusual.

“Stephen lit up every room he walked into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him,” Alisson told TMZ. “I’m sure not a day will go by that we don’t honor his memory.”

“I am heartbroken, ‘tWitch’ was pure love and light. He was my family and I loved him with all my heart. “Please send your love and support to Allison and her beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox and Zaia.”

Boss began working as a guest DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2014 and was promoted to co-executive producer of the talk show in 2020. He came to the presenter’s defense after a wave of accusations from former employees about the toxic climate at work. He told Us Weekly that he was not the target of racist comments.

“The relationship has always been very good and affectionate, and it will continue to be so. Obviously there are some things to address, but from my point of view and many others, is that there is love [nos bastidores]🇧🇷
