Meghan Markle: Former friend put indirect after appearing in documentary

by

Fashion designer Jessica Mulroney, former best friend of Meghan Markle and godmother of
her son Archie, posted a cryptic quote on Instagram Stories after appearing in a video chat with the Duchess in the first few episodes of the documentary series “Harry and Meghan” (Netflix).

“The best thing I ever did was learn to move without the crowd,” posted Jessica Mulroney, who was not interviewed for the documentary. The message raised rumors among the duchess’s fans that the two friends never resumed their friendship after a falling out in 2020.

The two former best friends’ relationship was strained after influencer Sasha Exeter accused Mulroney of racist attacks and “classic white privilege” amid the “Black Lives Matter” movement. Meghan would not have liked to be dragged into the mess because of her association with Mulroney.

According to Page Six, Markle also thought Mulroney had been making a career out of friendship and benefiting for some time from his position in the British royal family. The former best friend and her children were involved in the couple’s wedding and she reportedly helped the Duchess choose her dress for the big day.
