This year, for the first time, the festival EDEM Vol. 1 with the prospect of establishing itself as an institution that will highlight young musicians and talents from all over Greece, with the support of EDEM, which is a body that manages the intellectual rights of composers and lyricists.
Nine new musical ensembles that have been distinguished in the context of the “Open Platforms – Bridges” competition, jointly organized by EDEM and the Athens Music Hall, with the support of the Attica Region, will present their creations live, hoping to take the public on a musical journey without borders.
Reggetiko Project, Babo Koro, Dimitris Yfantis, Loopia, Christina Psycha, Argalios, Yiannis Mathes – Manos Sagris and Friends, Eleni Arapoglou and Fausto Sierakowski Trio will parade from the stage together with surprise appearances by beloved and well-known artists who join under the umbrella of EDEN.
This is a call to all those who love the music born in our country, to get to know it, enjoy it and support it.
EDEM aims to defend the rights of creators and Greek musical creation in every way and, therefore, is going to undertake many other initiatives in this direction.
In the courtyard of Piraeus 260 there will also be a food truck with various options for food in hand, as well as a kiosk with soft drinks and drinks. EDEM invites the public to meet new creators and enjoy favorite artists in the first music festival that honors Greek creators.
