Best known for playing the character Will on the Netflix series “Stranger Things,” actor Noah Schnapp, 17, enthusiastically celebrated being accepted to the University of Pennsylvania (see video below).
According to the Daily Mail, the video of the moment has been seen by more than nine million people on TikTok and starts with everyone in the family nervous before reading the result on the internet.
Next to Noah are his father, Mitchell, his mother, Karine, and his twin sister, Chloe. When everyone realizes that the actor’s name is approved, the party starts. He has not revealed which bear will do.
The University of Pennsylvania is part of the Ivy League, a group of the eight most prestigious universities in the United States, which also include Columbia, Cornell and Harvard. The actor is among the 8% of applicants who are accepted into this select group per year.
In November, Netflix used #StrangerThingsDay (the day fans remember the fictional disappearance of the character Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp) to spread the word about the 4th season of “Stranger Things”.
The new episodes should only premiere in 2022, but fans were able to get a taste of what’s to come with the release of the trailer that gives some clues as to where the story will go. In the images, you can see that Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) now lives in California.
She writes to her friend Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and says she’s adapted to her new life and is enjoying her new school, where she claims to have made a lot of friends (something the images contradict). She plans to meet him on vacation for the spring of 1986. “We’re going to have the best vacation ever,” she says.
