Five original members of the RBD group deleted all publications from their personal Instagram accounts and changed their profile picture to the band’s logo, this Monday (19). The only publication on the social network is a video of the group with the caption “Soy Rebelde”, increasing rumors of a possible return tour in 2023.
This Monday (19), Dulce María, Anahí, Maitê Perroni, Christian Chávez and Christopher Uckermann posted excerpts from the telenovela “Rebelde” (2004) and a video of their reunion in November. At the end of the video, there is a drawing of a tie and a link to the Soy Rebel World website.
When accessing the site, the internet user is faced with a 31-day countdown clock and the final date for January 19, 2023. “Prepare your tie”, says a notice on the page, which also asks to put your name, email and City.
The only one who has not shared the video and who will probably be out of the project is Alfonso Herrera, who even admitted in interviews that the group came to an end because he no longer wanted to dedicate himself to music. His latest publications on Instagram are about Argentina’s third championship, at the World Cup in Qatar.
The group’s official Instagram account also posted the same video and several fans commented that they were unable to enter the website link, but made posts saying that they are ready for RBD’s return. The group’s name entered the most commented subjects on Twitter.
