NFL star Tom Brady, 45, spoke about the experience of spending Christmas alone without his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, 42, and their children, who are on vacation in Santa Catarina. The two decided to end their 13-year relationship in October, after weeks of a marital crisis that was widely publicized in the media.

“I’m going to learn to deal with Christmas night in a hotel. I’m going to have to learn to deal with Christmas and Christmas night and still go out there and be a pro,” he told Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray Sirius XM🇧🇷 on Monday (19). “It will be a new experience that I’ve never had before, which I’ll learn to deal with… I guess that’s what life is about.”

The player, who will join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the field on Christmas Day, will meet his children on Dec. 26. “I’m looking forward to celebrating Christmas with my kids the next day, which is, you know, just part of football season for a long time,” he said.

The former couple amicably announced their divorce in October and said on social media that the priority is to continue raising their children together and giving them all the love, care and attention they deserve.

Tom Brady has also spoken out about the end of their 13-year marriage. “We have reached this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we have spent together. We will continue to work together as parents to ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”

The two had been facing a marital crisis since the beginning of September and would have been living separately for over a month. The disagreements would have started after the player went back on the decision to retire from the sport, which would be Gisele’s wish.
