Kate Middleton, Prince William and their three children – Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (7), and Prince Louis (4) – joined King Charles III, Queen Camilla and other members of the royal family for the traditional celebration of Christmas, this Sunday (25).
This was the first time that the couple’s youngest, little Prince Louis, had taken part in the walk to St. Magdalene in Norfolk, England. Her older siblings, George and Charlotte made their debuts on Christmas Day in 2019.
This year also marks the return of the in-person celebration, which in the last two years has been at a distance due to the pandemic, and the first without the presence of Queen Elizabeth 2nd (1926-2022).
The outing was also the first in which William and Kate, both 40, debuted as Prince and Princess of Wales. King Charles III officially granted the titles the day after the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September this year.
On Sunday afternoon, the royal family will gather at Sandringham for lunch, before King Charles’s first Christmas speech.
Princess Kate is also following a new tradition for the royal holiday. On 15 December, she organized her second carol concert at Westminster Abbey.
