Mônica Bergamo: Gil do Vigor showered twice to hug more than 2,000 people at Lula’s inauguration

One of the stars of President Lula’s (PT) inauguration, economist and former BBB Gil do Vigor made a veritable marathon to attend all the ceremonies scheduled for the inauguration day of the PT government.

The crowding around him was intense: Gil could barely walk to parties, such was the intensity of harassment from people who surrounded him to take pictures.

There were so many hugs that Gil decided to take a shower between the ceremony at the Palácio do Planalto and the reception at the Itamaraty, unlike other covid-19 cases, who joined one party after another.

“He said ‘mom, I can’t hug people when I’m sweaty and smelly'”, revealed his mother, influencer Jacira Santanna, to the column.

“I’ve already taken about 2,000 photographs”, calculated Gil himself.

An advisor tried to get him out of the crowd, but it was impossible: at every attempt to take a step, the economist was stopped for hugs and photo requests, which he always answered with a broad smile on his face.
