The fake phone number scam asking family and friends for money is old, but it continues to claim victims. This time, it was Carolina Dieckmann’s turn to use social networks to denounce that a gang was impersonating her this Friday (6). Brother Bernardo ended up being one of the “awarded” with the message exchanges, but he didn’t fall for it and even made a troll with one of the bandits. She also said that the group used a prefix from the United States, where she lived for the last six years, to convince people about bank transfers.
The actress shared a print of the scammer’s conversation with her brother. “Good morning Bernardo. How are you doing there? Schedule my new number”, began the criminal impersonating Dieckmann. “Oh sure. I was finding it weird not being able to talk to you”, replied Bernardo who felt it was a blow, since he had spoken with Carolina a little earlier. “Yes. Did something happen?” asked the bandit. It was then that the actress’s brother joked: “Flamengo hired Gerson. I just wanted to let you know”, he mocked.
“If you have a good-humored family, everything is resolved. Be careful”, warned the actress who is in the cast of the next soap opera at 7 pm on Globo, “Vai na Fé”. Carolina reinforced that people still need to be aware of the danger of this type of scam. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she has been studying about laws and actions, as she will play a criminal lawyer and law professor, called Lumiar, in Rosane Svartman’s plot.
