Mission… impossible. Seth Rogan revealed on TikTok that the Tom Cruise he tried to convert him to scientology (he is a known member of the scientologists), but he chose an unconventional way to convert him, when… mission failed.
The 23-second clip of Rogan’s May 2021 interview on Howard Stern’s podcast was posted Saturday.
In the video Rogan, 40 today, says the “Dangerous Missions” star, 60, tried to sit him down and explain “the truth” behind his religion.
“He said: ‘If you’ll let me tell you what it’s about. Just if you’ll let me…just give me 20 minutes to tell you what it’s really about”Rogan says in the video.
“Would you say, ‘by no means’, ‘by no c… way'” the 60-year-old star added crisply.
The 40-year-old actor recalls asking Cruise to explain whether the surprise would be good or… bad.
“I remember saying, ‘Is that what he’s saying for good?'” Rogan said. “Ugh I saved her” he commented.
