With the return of the BBB, see other reality shows to watch on streaming

The love of Brazilians for reality shows is not limited to Big Brother Brasil, which premieres this Monday (16) its 23rd season. Other national and international programs are successful on streaming platforms, following the lives of celebrities and anonymous people who meet different challenges.

One of the BBB 23 participants has already joined the cast of another reality show: the Brazilian version of “Queer Eye”. In the Netflix show, doctor Fred Nicácio is one of the Fabulous Five, as the presenters who transform the lives of those who pass through reality are called.

The streaming service also features the national version of “Casamento à Cegas”, a reality show presented by the actor couple Camila Queiroz and Klebber Toledo and which seeks to form new pairs without them seeing each other.

Paramount+ also brings a controversial reality show that is successful among Brazilians: the new season of “De Férias com o Ex” travels to the Caribbean, but has the participation of celebrities who have already been on programs of the type, as is the case of the ex -BBB Lumena Aleluia and the former participants of A Fazenda Lipe Ribeiro, Mirella and Bifão.

Marriage Blind Brazil

At the very end of last year, the second season of the reality show premiered, in which couples meet, as the name implies, blindly. In the episodes, the participants need to find love without getting attached to appearances and, if they opt for marriage, they spend their honeymoon in a hotel in the Amazon rainforest.

On Vacation with the Caribbean Ex

MTV’s original reality show has editions recorded in different parts of the world and, this time, it mixes participants from Latin America. The Caribbean version already has two seasons available on Paramount+ and features former participants from previous seasons and other realities. The program takes a group of singles on a get-together in Cartagena, Colombia, which is interrupted by the arrival of the contestants’ ex-partners.

Confectioners’ Squad

This culinary reality show has a different atmosphere than most, even though it is a competition. In the program, four professional confectioners use their skills to produce the client’s order, who participates in the episodes. The best themed dessert is the one chosen to celebrate a significant event for the current participant. The climate in the kitchens is one of collaboration between the confectioners, who do not run the risk of being punished or eliminated. The second season of the show premieres on Netflix this Friday (20).

Dropped and Naked Brazil

Reality that takes place in Colombia is available on streaming, with a different proposal. A group of ten Brazilians is left in the Colombian savanna and needs to survive with only one item taken by each participant. To complete the challenge, as the name of the program suggests, participants need to go through the 21 days of perrengue without any piece of clothing.

Queer Eye Brazil

The Brazilian version of the American reality hit Netflix in August last year. The team formed by the five presenters, called fabulous, transforms the life of a participant in each episode. Fred Nicácio, responsible for the well-being of those who will be transformed, is one of the members of the Camarote group on Big Brother Brasil 23.
