Singer Joelma and her daughter will have to pay more than R$ 800,000 per default. According to information from the Court of Justice of Goiás, the singer bought a luxury apartment in the region in 2019 and when signing the contract she transferred it to the heiress. However, whoever sold the property did not receive for it. When contacted, Joelma and her daughter did not comment.

According to the document that the F5 had access, Natália Sarraff needed to pay 11 installments of BRL 120,000 in 2019, which was equivalent to 3.2% of the amount, but she only paid a small part. The property cost R$ 3.7 million. In addition to not paying the installments, she also did not pay expenses such as IPTU, condominium fee, water and energy, and would even have left the place after a few months.

It was then that the seller of the luxury apartment went to court to cancel the contract and receive compensation and all debts settled. In the process, Joelma’s daughter claims that the pandemic made her unable to afford the amounts.

However, the judge did not take this hypothesis into account, since the discharge of tuition should have taken place in a period prior to the arrival of the coronavirus in Brazil.

In response, Natália tried to settle the payment of R$ 100,000 in ten installments, but it was not accepted by the plaintiff.

Now judged, the action provides for the condemnation of the defendant with the payment of a contractual fine, in addition to another indemnity, whose total exceeds R$ 800 thousand.
