Next Wednesday (1), Marco Nanini, 74, will launch the biography “O Avesso do Bordado”, which tells a lot about his artistic career, but the book also has parts dedicated to his personal life. The actor included in one of the chapters the quick romance he lived with the former director of Globo soap operas, Wolf Maya, 69. According to Nanini, the courtship happened at the time when the two shared an apartment in Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, in the south zone From Rio.
The actor moved in with the director after a contact made by Wolf himself and actress Zezé Motta in the late 1970s. They had just rented the property and were looking for someone else to share the expenses. The place was also the residence of Ronaldo Resedá [1945-1984]Ney Matogrosso, Lucélia Santos, Sandra Pêra and Eduardo Dussek.
Nanini recalled that as they lived together, he became very close to the former director and, little by little, the relationship ended up getting stronger, giving way to a passion. The courtship didn’t go very far, they remained friends and shared the apartment for a long time. “Nanini, for me, is my family”, said Wolf, in conversation with the author of the biography Mariana Filgueiras. For 30 years, the actor has been married to film producer Fernando Liboneti.
