53-year-old actor Paul Rudd decided to reveal the secret of his youth and give us a little taste of his fitness program. When asked by Men’s Health magazine to share his most important tip, the 53-year-old said that “eight hours of sleep” is at the top of his list.

“Next, the diet. After the weights. And the necessary cardiac tests,” he said. One of the sexiest men, according to People magazine, said that people often expect their “secret” to be related to a diet or an intense exercise program.

“People ask me, ‘Can you send me your diet plan?’ How many times a week do you exercise? Do you drink; Are you eating carbs?”’ Rudd said in the interview.

He continued: “People will set their alarm and then sleep for four hours and get up to train. They hurt themselves. If you can somehow get eight hours of sleep,” he explained.

The actor also gave a small “taste” of the program, which he follows every day. “I lift weights, at least, three times a week,” he said.

The actor entered the world of Marvel in 2015. With years of training as a… superhero under his belt, Rudd learned how his body reacts to exercise and what exercises make him happy and give him strength and mental balance. His diet is simple and consistent. He told Men’s Health that he eats eggs every day, salmon for most meals and likes his protein shakes, a simple mix of protein powder and water.

“Sounds like hell. Actually it’s not. I find routine comforting,” she insisted. “Routine is a human need,” he emphasized.

Rudd has been busy promoting Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which hits theaters on February 17. He revealed that he struggled to get back in shape for the highly anticipated Marvel film.
