The actress cited her film as an example of empowerment that affected her personally
Drew Barrymore said in a new interview that there are roles she played in the past that changed her life. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight about her new children’s animated series ‘Princess Power’, Barrymore cited her 1998 film ‘Ever After: A Cinderella Story’ as an example of empowerment that influenced her personally.
“I know that creative things have changed my life, not only when I was a kid but also when I was in my early 20s,” he said, adding: “I don’t think I’d be the same person without putting my perspective on what we think she must be a princess.’ And she went on to say that this movie changed the way she saw the world.
“I was in my early 20s and I was trying to start a company and I wanted to tell my own stories and I got the message that you can save yourself without waiting to be saved and that made me better in life my. I don’t know who I would be, honestly, without it. It changed the way I saw the world,” he said.
