Actress Glória Menezes, 87, celebrated Christmas with her family in Porto Feliz, in the interior of São Paulo. It is the first end of the year that the artist has spent without her husband for nearly six decades: Tarcísio Meira died in August as a result of complications at Covid-19.
The date was celebrated on the farm that the couple shared. The three children of the actress, grandchildren and other family members were present. Photos of the reunited family, highlighted by Glória, were shared by daughter-in-law Mocita Fagundes, wife of Tarcísio Meira Filho.
“The house is full. And it’s super cool. Family together, kids running around the house, hugs and smiles. But there’s a general feeling of… ‘he’s missing'”, he told on his Instagram.
Tarcisio and Glória were infected by Covid-19 and were hospitalized together at Hospital Albert Einstein, in São Paulo. The actress was discharged four days after her husband’s death.
On the social network, Mocita also remembered an excerpt from the romantic comedy series “Louco por Elas” (Globo), starring Eduardo Moscovis, with Tarcísio and Glória. In the scene, the late actor speaks dressed as Santa Claus, and receives a kiss from his wife.
“Tarcisi. You will always be present in your house. Always”, the daughter-in-law moved. “A kiss full of longing.”
