The Oscar-nominated actress explained that Curtis steered her in the right direction to achieve a certain look

Tips from Jamie Lee Curtis accepted by Jennifer Grey to succeed in her latest role. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight the actress revealed that Curtis advised her on how to best transform herself into the lead role for the biopic ‘Gwen Shamblin: Starving for Salvation’.

One of the aspects of her role as Gwen Champlin’s Lara is the appearance with the blown-up blonde hairstyle. The Oscar-nominated actress explained that Curtis steered her in the right direction to achieve this look.

“He said to me, ‘Well, you have to go to Rob Pickens. He’s the best wig maker. He just did my Halloween wigs and he did Ana de Armas’ wigs for Blonde,'” Gray said, adding, ” When he tells me in that stern voice, then I do what he tells me and so I called Pickens.”

According to Deadline, in November Gray agreed to play Champlin, a controversial author, founder of the Christian nutrition program “The Weigh Down Workshop” and founder of the church “Remnant Fellowship.”
