His infamous interview prince andrew to journalist Emily Maitlis on BBC Newsnight, is being made into a film starring Rufus Sewell and Gillian Anderson.

It is worth noting that in the interview in November 2019, the favorite son of Queen Elizabeth spoke about his friendship, which had “beneficial effects” with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who killed himself in prison, and about the allegations of Virginia Geoffrey towards his face.

After the interview the Duke of York was forced into a humiliating resignation from his public duties.

The filming of the Netflix movie titled Scoop opens this month in London with Gillian Anderson playing journalist Emily Maitlis under Philip Martin’s direction.

“I’m thrilled to be directing this film for Netflix alongside an extraordinary cast… It’s a film about power, privilege…and how – whether in glittering palaces or state-of-the-art TV studios – we judge what’s true” .

Billie Piper also stars as producer Sam McAllister, while Kiley Hawes will play the duke’s former secretary, according to the Guardian.
