Rihanna once again he acquires a wax figure. Officials at the Madame Tussauds Museum in New York have announced that the Grammy-winning artist will receive a new wax figure.
The wax figure of the pop and R&B singer will be sporting her iconic look at the 2018 Met Gala, featuring a strapless stone-embroidered mini dress, a long matching collared coat, and a wide pearl belt at the waist.
A modern touch is the LED lights that illuminate the Glow Gala room where the wax figure will be housed. It took six months to create the figure, according to a Museum press release.

This one won’t be the only new wax figure in Rihanna’s honor. A wax figure of Rihanna is also expected at Orlando’s Madame Tussauds later this year, but it will be depicted in her yet-to-be-revealed Super Bowl halftime costume.
“Rihanna is sure to make history with her upcoming live performance this Sunday, so the timing is perfect to unveil her new figure exclusively at Madame Tussauds in New York, where fans can admire and pose with the idol” said the general director of the Museum Jörg Haenel.
