Influencers complain about being forgotten at a meeting with Lula and Janja

by

The meeting between President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and the first lady, Rosângela da Silva, Janja, with a group of digital influencers sympathetic to the government caused discomfort and criticism from communicators not invited to the event, held this Wednesday. (8), at the Planalto Palace. Among the disgruntled people is artist and activist Preta Ferreira, who complained on social media.

“There was a meeting with Lula and I received several complaints from communicators who were not invited. I didn’t go either. I think our communication must be irrelevant at this moment. That must have been why the invitation did not come. The left being left”, he said.

According to Preta, the communicators who were left out are tired of talking about it. “When you need it, you call,” she quipped. The activist also complained about the lack of articulation to take information to social movements. “It’s hard to do politics that way.”

Communicator Debora Baldin, who campaigned for the PT in the last two presidential campaigns, also didn’t like being left out of the meeting. “I’m starting to think that the problem with us is personal, me and Sabrina Fernandes are not called for absolutely nothing, even though we’ve been skinned in the campaign. What explains it? Really sincere doubt”, she pointed out.

The absence of Debora and Sabrina Fernandes, from the science and political dissemination channel Tese Onze, was the reason for complaints directed at Janja, who organized the meeting.

“Guys, today’s meeting was the first of many. This is the moment of unity and reconstruction. We have a lot of work ahead of us. Let’s focus on that”, replied the first lady, on Twitter.

Journalist Cynara Menezes, from the Socialista Morena website, shared complaints from uninvited communicators and made a comparison between right and left.

“Making the court, courting, are synonymous with flattering. Every court wants to have its courtiers. In this aspect, politicians of the left and right are not so different”, he affirmed.

Journalist and activist, William De Lucca was also not called. “People forgot too quickly that I exist,” he said.

Among those present at the café with Lula and Janja were activists Raull Santiago, Camila Moradia and Renê Silva, actresses Bárbara Paz, Luisa Arraes and Ana Hikari, actor Caio Blat, former BBB Gleici Damasceno, DJ Jude Paula and blogger Rainha Matos.

The themes of the meeting were the rescue of democracy and the fight against fake news. Lula thanked influencers for their support, and jokingly spoke about the creation of the “Ministry of Dating” and kissed Janja.
