Alice Wegmann tells that Marília Mendonça would participate in a Globoplay series

Alice Wegmann, 26, is among the celebrities who paid homage to Marília Mendonça (1995-2021). In the midst of the tribute, in which she said she was a fan of the queen of suffering, the actress revealed that the singer would make a participation in the series “Rensga Hits”.

“This was the closest I got to Marília Mendonça. A near-scene. Unfortunately it didn’t happen… my heart is torn,” began Wegmann in the post made this Friday (5). “My character in ‘Rensga Hits’, Raisa, has always been a tribute to her in life. Our biggest reference and inspiration,” he explained.

“When an artist leaves, it seems that we lose the imaginative reach of everything we can be… I’m sorry”, lamented the actress, wishing “strength and prayers for the family and friends of this comet that passed here on earth, and also from everyone else on the plane.”

“Rensga Hits”, a series that will be available on Globoplay, tells the story of two rival country singers, played by Wegmann and Lorena Comparato. The attraction is being recorded in Goiás and also features Deborah Secco, Fabiana Karla, Alejandro Claveaux and Jennifer Dias.

Marília, known as the queen of suffering and one of the greatest voices in contemporary Brazilian music, died at the age of 26 this Friday afternoon. The information was confirmed by the Fire Department of Minas Gerais in a note sent to the press.

The singer was one of five victims of a plane crash that fell into a mountain range in Piedade de Caratinga, 309 kilometers from Belo Horizonte. The artist had a concert scheduled for the date in Caratinga, about ten kilometers from the accident site.

The fall occurred around 3pm. At first, it was not known if it was the singer who was on board the aircraft. It was the twin-engine resemblance seen in a video she’d shared on Instagram two hours earlier that sparked the doubt. In a comical tone, the publication showed Mendonça embarking and eating.
