When asked what people might not know about her by reading headlines or social media posts, her eyes began to water.

“I get emotional when I think about it,” Hadid replied. “I think I’m someone you have to experience up close. It is not difficult. This is not a complaint. It’s more that in my work, it’s all about snapshots.”

She revealed that she and her sister, Bella Hadid, are undergoing psychotherapy to deal with the challenges and difficulties of modeling. Speaking to “Elle,” the famous model said a famous friend gave her the best advice: Ignore the negative headlines.

“Serena Williams once told me, ‘Nothing stays in the press for more than three weeks,'” Gigi Hadid said. “You can feel like your life is ending, but if it’s a mistake, then it will pass. I think it’s about not taking yourself so seriously and thinking, ‘When I’m on my deathbed, I won’t remember that one awkward interview from when I was 19.'”

In September 2020, Hadid welcomed her first child, daughter Khai, with former One Direction singer Zayn Malik. In an interview with “Entertainment Tonight” in October, Hadid’s mother, Yolanda, insisted that Khai is the “reincarnation” of her own mother, Ans van den Herik, who died in 2019.
