Eva Longoriawho was born and raised in Texas to a Mexican-American family, travels to Mexico in the new food travel show for CNN, “Searching for Mexico”. The documentary series is a continuation of the program with Stanley Tucci “Searching for Italy”.

“I’m so excited that viewers are witnessing firsthand what I love so much about Mexico – the food, the people, the culture,” actress and producer Eva Longoria said in a statement. “This trip allowed me to appreciate and fall in love with my roots even more, and I feel honored that CNN entrusted me with this unforgettable, unique experience,” he added.

“I explore Mexico to see how its people, their lands and their past have shaped their culinary traditions as diverse as its 32 states,” the actress explains in the show’s trailer.

Eva Longoria will visit Mexico City, Yucatan, Oaxaca, Nuevo Leon, Jalisco and Veracruz to explore their culinary history. The series, which will premiere on March 26, is executive produced by Eva Longoria and Stanley Tucci.
