Woman from Sorocaba says that being submissive is not being supported: ‘He doesn’t give R$ 1’

After saying that she is submissive to her husband, the singer Sorocaba, the model Biah Rodrigues returned to the networks to counter a series of offenses and criticisms from other women that she claims to have received. According to her, the concept of submission would have been misunderstood by most people.

“I wanted to say that Rihanna’s photo represents what society has increasingly shown. It is nothing more than a reflection. People came to attack me as if I were against Rihanna, against women, against empowerment. And I went to talk about submission, because people have a distorted view, they think submission is being ‘Amélia’, being under the husband’s foot”, she began.

“I laugh. Submission is a shared mission, it’s honoring and respecting authority. Within marriage, the Bible says a man is to love his wife as Christ loved the Church, and a woman is to honor and respect her husband, leadership in marriage, period,” he said.

According to Biah, anyone who complains about what she says would not have the right to say: ‘Oh, my husband is a wimp.’ After I understood my role as a woman at home, the relationship was different.”

According to the model, most of the messages she received contained phrases like: “Of course, she is supported, so even I would be submissive”. This was refuted by the model who claims that Sorocaba “does not give me R$ 1”.

“Being submissive does not prevent a woman from working. I could prove it by showing my account statement, my husband doesn’t give me R$ 1, but my account is booming. Months ago I bought a truck and if I want I can go buy the car I want now. you want at the dealership”, he fired.
