After the actress and comedian Livia La Gatto exposed the threats suffered by “masculinity coach” Thiago Schutz on her social networks, the influencer decided to comment on the episode on Monday night (27). Owner of the “Manual Red Pill” profile on Instagram, known for propagating misogynistic speeches and valuing women’s submission to men, he started a video saying that he was always a misunderstood person and still commented that he was completely against any type of violence.
“I’m 34 years old. I don’t have a criminal record, I don’t carry a weapon or attend a shooting club. My intention is always to help. When I said ‘bullet’ in the sentence: ‘You have 24 hours to remove your content about me. Then it’s a lawsuit or a bullet. You choose’, it wasn’t in the literal sense. It wasn’t a threat. Ever”, he explained.
Schutz also said that he received several attacks because of the phrase and even questioned himself about the reasons that led him to take that attitude. “I am human. I feel emotions. I am happy, sad and also angry. Why did I decide to respond that way? Because I had been attacked for several weeks. I never went on anyone’s page to attack”, he complained.
He then continued: “I have never directed a personal attack nor have I ever fought with anyone who does not agree with my views. But, things have crossed a line. A simple joke involving a drink escalated into a series of lies and also several attacks against me “, he summarized and then finished: “I never had the intention of taking anyone’s life.”
In the last week, a video went viral in which Livia characterizes herself as a man and speaks sexist and misogynistic phrases of those who have a fragile masculinity. At no point is Schutz mentioned in the video, but apparently he felt represented. Actress ended up registering a police report after the threats received by Instagram. She also showed several calls that she refused, on the same social network as the coach’s profile.
