Lady Gaga was sued by a woman who was convicted in connection with the theft of the singer’s dogs, according to the Guardian newspaper.

Jennifer McBride, who returned the dogs after they were stolen, says the star didn’t give her the $500,000 fee. He accuses the singer of breaching the agreement. Jennifer McBride was already arrested and charged in connection with the theft of Lady Gaga’s French bulldogs in February 2021. Ryan Fischer, who was responsible for walking the famous singer’s dogs, was shot and injured during the robbery .

Two days after the 2021 robbery, McBride returned the dogs to Lady Gaga, with police noting that McBride appeared to be “uninvolved and unrelated” to the incident.

However, not long after, McBride was charged with receiving stolen goods and aiding and abetting attempted murder and was sentenced to two years probation!

According to the lawsuit filed Friday in a Los Angeles court, McBride now claims that Lady Gaga breached the $500,000 “no questions asked” fee agreement by failing to pay for the return of the dogs. She accuses the singer of fraud.

McBride is also seeking damages of no less than $1.5 million, including compensation for legal fees and mental anguish the whole ordeal has caused her.

In December, James Howard Jackson, one of three men involved in the robbery, was sentenced to 21 years in prison. Jackson shot Fisher with a semi-automatic pistol during the robbery, while others made off with two of Lady Gaga’s three dogs.
