With a tribute to her first conference Association of Owners of Athens Daily Newspapersheld recently under the theme “Newspapers 2024” and about the future of print media, the new, 59th issue of the magazine of the Hellenic Parliament was posted today on the website of the Parliament “On the… peristyle!”.

As mentioned in the relevant announcement of the Parliament, two of the main proposals are presented in the corresponding thematic sections, namely:

  • Evidence from the results of the Focus Bari survey carried out especially for the conference, which captures both the dynamics and the comparative positioning of the press in the overall information landscape. The analysis is done by the founder of the company, Xenia Kourtoglou.
  • Institutional issues that – increasingly at pan-European level – shape the regulatory framework that defines the position of the press in the communication ecosystem, especially vis-à-vis the dominant global platforms. The presentation is made by Ilias Konteas, Director General of the European Union of Newspaper Publishers.
