BMG has announced the reissue of 12 of the legendary band’s top albums Scorpions on colored vinyls. The colors chosen not only reflect its history, but were also combined with the style of each album’s original cover.
The ‘Colours of Rock’ series includes reissues of ‘Fly To The Rainbow’, ‘In Trance’, ‘Virgin Killer’ and ‘Humanity: Hour 1’ on clear violet, clear blue and gold vinyl respectively, along with more eight carefully selected band albums.
These are: ‘Taken By Force’ on white vinyl, ‘Tokyo Tapes’ on yellow, ‘Lovedrive’ and ‘Animal Magnetism’ on red, ‘Blackout’ on transparent, ‘Love at First Sting’ on silver, ‘For World Wide Live’ and ‘Savage Amusement’ on clear orange and light blue vinyl respectively.
The colorful “treasures” will be released on May 5, just days before the start of their “Rock Believer World Tour” in Europe with the first stop in Lille, France on May 9.
