It is reminded that the 67th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Liverpool, on behalf of Ukraine, on May 9, 11 and 13.

Victor Vernicos started piano lessons at the age of just four, voice lessons at eight and guitar lessons at ten. At eleven he started writing his first songs, while for two years now he has been supervising the production of his own music, attending Music Technology courses.

How was the song chosen?

In the final trio was also the song “Liar” with Melissa Mantzoukis and “Shout out” by the duo Antonia Kaouri and Maria Maragou. The song of Greece was selected with a combined weighting factor of 50.6% in the vote of the Audience Committee against 49.4% of the vote of the ERT Committee. The seven-member Commission of ERT, chaired by Dimitris Papadimitriou, is made up of Petros Adams, Leonidas Antonopoulos, Fotis Apergi, Maria Kozakou, Konstantinos Bourouni and Yannis Petridis.

For the first time this year, the final decision came from two Committees, just as the winning song will emerge in the Eurovision 2023 Final, following the recent change to the voting rules. The seventy members of the Audience Committee were chosen by lottery and a process that ensures the immutability and age representativeness of the Eurovision audience.

25 members in the 18-24 age group, 20 members in the 25-34 age group, 15 members in the 35-44 age group and 10 members in the 45+ age group were drawn.
