Number one in its broadcast zone, number one in all audiences
With one fantastic show full of touching moments and the best voices in Greece, the 7th season of The Voice of Greece ended with the final being in first place in the TV ratings in its broadcast zone with a percentage of 13.8 in the dynamic audience and 16.9 in the general audience. Maria Sakellari from Panos Mouzouraki’s team was declared the big winner!
The 16-year-old contestant competed in the last phase of the final with Dodona and the television audience saw in her face the next “Voice of Greece”, giving her the victory and the golden contract with Minos EMI, a Universal Music Company, the country’s largest record label .
The evening of the finals began with Fai Skordas welcoming the seven contestants on stage accompanied by the proud coaches, Konstantinos Argyros, Panos Mouzourakis, Elena Paparizou and Sakis Rouvas.
In the first phase of the final, all the contestants performed one song with the audience voting for the four who would be closest to victory.
Moses Papamouseos and Dodona from the team of Constantinos Argyrou, Maria Sakellari from the team of Panos Mouzourakis and Lambros Tsiapoutas from the team of Sakis Rouvas were the ones who qualified for the next phase. Maria Sakellari and Dodona passed through the second round of appearances, with the former emerging as the winner.
Within seconds of the announcement of her name, Panos Mouzourakis was at her side, visibly moved and excited by the result.
Among the highlights of the evening was the sensational performance of last year’s winner of The Voice of Greece from Sakis Rouvas’ team, Anna Argyrou, who enchanted the audience and the coaches by performing her new single entitled “Fool’s Paradise”.
Another season of The Voice of Greece has ended, offering the television audience unique emotions, wonderful voices, but also the hope that the future of music in Greece is very promising!
The 7th season has come to an end, but as the presenter of the show Fay Skorda announced, the applications for the next The Voice of Greece have just started!
