When you’re Ruper Murdoch he’s got the money to do whatever you want – even marrying for the fifth time at 92 (paying all the brave alimony to your 4 ex-wives, of course).

The 92-year-old media magnate, in an interview with his own newspaper “New York Post”, revealed that he is engaged to his new love, a 66-year-old lady named Anne Ashley Smith.

Murdoch proposed to her on St. Patrick’s Day in New York, with a similarly prestigious diamond solitaire that he “personally chose.”

The couple got engaged just 6 months after they met and less than a year after Murdoch divorced his fourth wife and former supermodel, Jeri Hall.

“I was very nervous,” the media mogul admitted, revealing that the couple plan to tie the knot at the end of the summer this year.

“I was afraid of falling in love — but I knew this would be my last time. I am happy,” said the 92-year-old.

Who is the bride?

66-year-old Ann Ashley Smith is a former San Francisco police chaplain (apparently there is such a profession in the US, sort of spiritual) and the widow of the late country music star and producer, Chester Smith.

As she stated, her husband’s involvement in the media resulted in her “speaking the same language” with her new partner, and she described their meeting as “a gift from God for both of us”.
